Description.......

This electromagnet is an appliance with a special magnetic force/stroke curve and a particular cylinder in which the keeper slides with very low friction. It's employed as a positioner in pressure relief, proportional, flow control ad choke valves. By feeding it with a specific current, a proportional effect is obtained in the shape of a specific force or a specific stroke.
The assembly position is irrelevant, though a horizontal assembly is advisable. The electromagnet consists of an electrical part with encapsulated winding and a pressure-resistant mechanical part. The latter is constituited by a cylinder close in the rear side and extending outwards with keeper and polar nucleus. A pin fastened to the keeper transmits the electromagnetic force outwards, exerting a thrust for a delimited lenght of stroke.
